Richie Ray is no stranger to the music business. Spending over 10 years touring the world, he's an accomplished singer/songwriter as well as an award winning music producer. As a performing and songwriting member of ASCAP, he has over 100 registered songs, 18 of which were released through Sony/BMG. Training with producer/engineer Marc McCluskey, (Weezer/William Beckett/letlive/Motion City Soundtrack), he learned the art of recording and has a knack for bringing out the best performances in his artists.
In 2013, he became co-owner of New Albany Production House and helped build it into a successful music complex and all ages venue. While at NAPH, he was named one of the 2015 Twenty Under 40 by Business Source magazine, honoring the top business men & women in southern Indiana. In 2016, he moved on and founded Rockstop Studios, focusing primarily on music production, video production & graphic design.
Although based in New Albany, IN, songs he's written & produced can be heard on radio stations all over the world. In fact, in the last 3 years, Richie has had over 70 songs he's either written or produced on major radio stations. Rockstop Studios is the local studio with a global reach.
